Built to make the institutional way the normal way.

Frontier Folios is made by Flyweal Labs Private Limited, a software company in Lucknow. We started from a simple unfairness: a fund has a process, data, cost models and analysts; an individual with the same ambition has a brokerage app and a group chat. The Terminal closes that gap without pretending to be the fund.

Mission

Democratise institutional strategy. Keep the human in charge.

The next generation of trading platforms will not be a faster order screen. It will be a place where you think out loud, the machine does the maths, and the evidence is on the table before the money moves. We are building that for India, in rupees, on Indian data, with Indian brokers.

We are deliberately not an adviser. The Terminal has no buy list, no house portfolio and no target prices, and it is engineered so that it never needs one. Advised strategies, if ever offered under the Frontier Folios name, would come only from a separately registered entity under its own terms.

    Process over prediction

    We don't know where the market goes next, and we don't pretend to. We build the loop a desk runs: hypothesis, evidence, size, execute, review.

    Show the assumptions

    Every backtest shows its costs, its universe as it stood, and its survivorship note. Every AI answer cites its source. If a number can be stale, it says when it was true.

    You stay in control

    No advice, no automatic orders, no custody. The Terminal prepares; you decide; your broker executes. That is a product principle, not a legal footnote.

    India first

    NSE and BSE, ₹ in lakh and crore, IST, Indian charges, Indian brokers, GST invoices, data hosted in Mumbai. Defaults start from how Indian investors actually work.

    Honest about limits

    Beta features are labelled. Thin data is labelled. Simulated results are labelled. If something is not ready, it says so rather than pretending.

Security and data residency

Boring on purpose.

Security is a list of decisions, not a badge. These are ours.

  • Data residency

    Database, files, encryption keys and logs in AWS Asia Pacific (Mumbai), ap-south-1. Backups on a fixed cycle. Only AI requests leave India, and only the context they need.

  • Secrets

    Broker developer-app keys, session tokens and your own AI keys are envelope-encrypted with a dedicated key-management service, bound to your account. We never store broker passwords, PINs or TOTP seeds.

  • Network

    The database is not reachable from the internet. Services run in private subnets behind a load balancer; the API verifies every token on every request.

  • Access

    Staff access is limited and logged. Firm workspaces separate client books by role, and personal data requests are recorded in an audit trail.

  • Your rights

    Export, correct or erase your data from Settings, or write to the Grievance Officer. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

  • Incidents

    If a breach affects your data we tell you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires, with what happened and what to do.

Flyweal builds software for wealth management in India. WealthOS, its platform for registered advisers, runs the back office; Frontier Folios Terminal is the self-directed product for investors, traders and the desks that serve them. The two share a design language and a conviction: the process should be visible.

The Terminal's core engine began as a fork of an open-source agentic trading project (MIT licence), rebuilt for Indian markets: exchange files, broker adapters, charges, calendars and corporate actions. Charts render with TradingView's lightweight-charts library.
