01The agreement
These Terms govern your use of Frontier Folios Terminal (the “Terminal”), the application at app.frontierfolios.ai, the website at www.frontierfolios.ai and related services (together, the “Service”). The Service is operated by Flyweal Labs Private Limited, a company incorporated in India with its registered office at 2/676, Bharwara, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow 226010, Uttar Pradesh, India (“Flyweal”, “we”, “us”).
By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Notice, the Subscription & Refund Policy and the Risk Disclosure, which form part of these Terms. If you use the Service for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These Terms are an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and need no physical signature.
02What the Terminal is, and is not
- The Terminal is self-directed research and analytics software for Indian markets (NSE and BSE). It offers portfolio tracking, risk and analytics, screeners, charts, a research library, AI-assisted research, backtesting, a scenario lab (“Studio”), saved strategies, baskets, watch-and-alert agents, paper trading and the preparation of orders for your broker.
- The Terminal does not give investment advice. Flyweal Labs Private Limited is not registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) as an investment adviser, research analyst, stock broker, portfolio manager or in any other capacity. Nothing in the Service is a recommendation, solicitation or offer to buy or sell any security or derivative. This covers AI answers, backtests, screens, examples, investor portfolios, alerts, agent outputs and drafted orders. Where the Terminal shows an example it is labelled “Example, not a recommendation”. You alone decide what to trade.
- Any advisory or portfolio-management service that may be offered under the Frontier Folios brand would be provided only by a separately registered entity, under its own terms. The Terminal is not that service, and using the Terminal does not make you a client of any adviser.
- We never place orders for you and never hold your money or securities. Orders reach your broker only when you confirm them on your broker’s own page (for example a Zerodha Kite basket or a FYERS API Connect window), or when you place them yourself from a manual ticket. Paper trading is simulated and moves no money. Agents may draft orders for your review; nothing is placed automatically.
03Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old, resident in a jurisdiction where use of the Service is lawful, and able to enter a binding contract under Indian law.
- Give accurate information and keep it current. Keep your sign-in secure, including passkeys and authenticator devices. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at once at support@flyweal.com if you suspect misuse.
- Organisation (“Firm”) accounts are managed by their administrators, who invite members, assign seats, set roles and pay for the plan. Members’ access depends on the organisation’s plan and on the role an administrator gives them. Administrators can see the organisation’s audit trail; personal data requests stay personal.
- One person, one account. Do not share, sell or transfer an account.
04Broker connections
- You may connect your own broker accounts using your own broker developer-app credentials and your broker’s daily login, or, where available, a Flyweal platform app that your broker has approved. We store app credentials and session tokens encrypted. We never ask for or store your broker password, PIN or TOTP seed.
- We read only what the connection allows (such as holdings, positions, funds, orders and, where you turn it on, live prices) to show them to you.
- Your broker relationship, its charges, its risk disclosures and its rules are between you and your broker. Brokers may change or withdraw their APIs at any time. We are not responsible for a broker’s outages, rejections, data or charges.
- Live prices from your broker are for your own use inside the Terminal and must not be redistributed.
- You are responsible for complying with your broker’s and the exchanges’ rules on API usage, including any rules that apply to orders prepared with software.
05Market data, backtests and investor portfolios
- Market data comes from public exchange files, exchange filings and other sources. It may be delayed, incomplete or wrong. Check important figures with your broker or the exchange before acting. Where a figure can be stale the Terminal shows its source and as-of time.
- Backtests and paper records are hypothetical. They apply your rules to historical prices with the costs and assumptions shown (including estimated charges and slippage). Past or simulated performance does not indicate future results. Index membership is point in time where the Terminal says so, and today’s list otherwise, with a disclosed survivorship note.
- Investor portfolios in Alpha Hub are built from public shareholding disclosures (holdings of 1% or more in a company). They show only what was disclosed, as of the filing date. They are public disclosure, not advice, and do not imply any endorsement by, or connection with, the people or firms named.
- Market data is licensed to us for display inside the Terminal. You may use it for your own research and trading decisions; you may not scrape, resell or redistribute it.
06AI features
- AI features generate text and analysis with third-party AI models. Some of these are run by providers outside India (see the Privacy Notice).
- AI output can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Check it before relying on it. Citations show where figures came from. AI output is never a recommendation.
- AI use is metered in credits under your plan. The credit price of an action is shown before it runs; a task that cannot fit your remaining credits is refused before it starts.
- If you add your own AI provider key, calls on that key are billed to you by that provider under its terms, and you are responsible for its use. Keep that key secure and revoke it with your provider if you believe it is compromised.
07Plans, payments and taxes
- Plans, prices, credits and limits are shown on the Pricing page and in Settings → Plan & billing. Payments are processed by Razorpay. Individual plans renew automatically until cancelled; Firm plans are prepaid. The details, including upgrades, downgrades, cancellation and our no-refund rule with its exceptions, are in the Subscription & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
- Prices are in Indian rupees, plus GST at the applicable rate. We issue a GST tax invoice for every payment.
- During a beta period we may make paid features available without charge. We will say so in the app and on the Pricing page, and we may end the beta with reasonable notice.
08Acceptable use
You must not:
- break the law, including SEBI regulations on insider trading, market manipulation and unregistered advisory or research services;
- use the Service to give investment advice, research or portfolio management to others without the registration the law requires;
- share or resell your access, scrape the Service or its data, or use automated means to access it except through features we provide;
- reverse-engineer, decompile or copy the Service beyond what the law allows;
- probe, bypass or interfere with its security, rate limits or other users;
- upload unlawful, infringing or harmful content, or content that contains other people’s personal data without their consent;
- misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or impersonate another person or firm.
09Your content and our intellectual property
- You own what you put in (notes, strategies, baskets, uploaded files, feedback). You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, process and display it only to run the Service for you, to fix problems and, for feedback, to improve the product. We do not use your portfolio data to train public AI models.
- The Service, its design, code, documentation, trade marks (including “Frontier Folios”, “Frontier Folios Terminal” and the Flyweal mark) and its compiled datasets are owned by Flyweal or its licensors. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the Service under these Terms. All other rights are reserved.
- Parts of the Service include open-source software under their own licences, which are acknowledged in the application.
10Beta features and changes to the Service
Features marked Beta may change, have errors, or be withdrawn. We may limit or end beta access with reasonable notice. We may also improve, change or discontinue parts of the Service; where a change materially reduces what a paid plan includes, we will tell you before it takes effect and you may cancel under the Subscription & Refund Policy.
11Third-party services
The Service connects to brokers, payment processors and AI providers you choose. Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience only.
12Suspension and termination
- You may close your account at any time from Settings. Cancelling a paid plan works as described in the Subscription & Refund Policy. After closure we delete your data as the Privacy Notice sets out.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms or the law, puts the Service or other users at risk, or (for prepaid Firm plans) remains unpaid after the grace period. Where reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put things right.
- Sections on intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, indemnity and governing law survive termination.
13Disclaimers
- The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including that the Service or its data will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted or error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.
- Investments in securities markets are subject to market risks. Read the Risk Disclosure. You are solely responsible for your investment decisions and for complying with the laws and tax rules that apply to you.
14Limitation of liability and indemnity
- To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any trading or investment loss, lost profit, loss of data, or indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service, its data, AI outputs or broker connections, however caused.
- Our total liability to you for all claims in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose, or ₹1,000 if you paid nothing.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
- You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these Terms or the law, or from your use of the Service to provide services to third parties.
15Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will tell you about material changes in the app or by email at least 15 days before they take effect, unless a change is needed sooner for legal or security reasons. The current version, its number and its effective date are always shown at the top of this page. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept it; if you do not agree, close your account before then.
16Governing law, disputes and grievances
- Indian law governs these Terms. Subject to the next point, the courts at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction.
- Before going to court, please raise the matter with our Grievance Officer; most problems are solved there. Nothing in this section prevents you from approaching a consumer forum or other authority the law gives you access to.
- Grievance Officer (under the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the DPDP Act, 2023): Grievance Officer, Flyweal Labs Private Limited, grievance@flyweal.com, 2/676, Bharwara, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow 226010, Uttar Pradesh, India. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours with a ticket reference and aim to resolve them within 30 days.
- Notices to us: support@flyweal.com (support) or grievance@flyweal.com (legal notices), or by post to the registered office. Notices to you: the email address on your account, or in the app.
17General
- These Terms, with the documents they incorporate, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service.
- If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it.
- You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them to an affiliate or a successor to the Service, with notice to you.
- We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including exchange or broker outages, network failures, and acts of government.
